Only local tie is Todd Golden being a former Gael and Don. He hit the lottery in coaching!

And how about that defensive masterclass Kelvin and the Cougs displayed??!!!

10 minutes, 1 field goal.... to all the parents, teach your kid how to defend and not be so worried about shooting 48 3s.

Rebounding, Defense, and Free Throws - Proctor missed his, Roberts and Cryer hit theirs

That was an epic choke job by the Dookies. Up 6 with 35 seconds was one for the ages. Flagg should do the unthinkable and come back. He’s probably getting somewhere between $5-10 mil NIL if he returns.

I've been keeping very, very, very close tabs on Paige since she was a soph at Hopkins HS in Minnesota. (Pays to watch games online!)

So, I've been a UConn fan on the women's side for several years before Aidan portaled his way over there.

It was great to see her team finally get the job done after all the snakebit injury-riddled previous years. I think they had seven scholarship players in uniform by the time they got knocked out last year, for example.

#1 pick in 2024 got 4 years 57milli...
Risk of injury ain't worth it
The guy is from Newport, Maine. Population 3,000. The money he made this year from NIL at Duke he can live comfortably for the rest of his life. Did did some study that shows if you have $30M that no amount after that incrementally makes you happier.

Nor as big. at 6'7" 180 according to Wiki. Since I watched Cooper play for his Maine HS, I watched Ace, too. Very good player.
He was a 3-star out of HS. He's committed to play for the Maine University Black Bears next season, which incidentally has the only school song I know of that made #1 on the charts when it was recorded by none other than Rudy Vallee... Okay, I went full-on old-song geek there... and I'm glad I did. It's in my 22,000-song iTunes collection, too.

They went 20-14 this year in the D1 America East conference, losing in the conference final to Bryant, who had a cuppa coffee in the Dance...

It was 7-2 fouls in favor of Houston with about 13 mins left in the game and Hou up 12.

FLA went straight lock down defense and Houston started settling for 3's/outside shots.(and missing). Next thing u know at least 10 straights foul calls on Houston and FLA in the double bonus (after stuffing it down low possession after possession) while Houston still sitting at 7 fouls...and Fla starts chipping away at the lead until they take that 64-63 lead with about 35 secs left.

BOTH teams played so hard! Absolutely a joy to watch! This is what it's all about!

Congrats to Florida!

Perhaps 1 of the refs on the site can answer this question.

The last shot/play was a catch and shoot. He still had his dribble alive. Why, after he jumped couldn't he had dribbled? Or at least grabbed the ball? It wasn't a double dribble (like Greeny claimed on GET UP) because he still had his dribble alive.

Not a ref expert at all, but I think that first motion to not shoot after the contest would be ruled as a pass to himself if he touched it again. What he should have done was grab it right away to stop the clock and have a chance after fouling.

But I'm happy to be proven wrong on that
