Nice post ! Speaking of refs, last week there was a controversial call in the NCS D3 game between Rancho Cotate and Petaluma. An inadvertent whistle on a a fumble possibly changed the outcome. This was an really good and honest response from a ref who is the head of that association.

I try to give them a break as much as possible. They never have the easiest job. Sometimes it's tough though.
