Dallas Washington's departure is a big hit to the Lancers as they graduated their top guards and 6-7 wing shooter. I was disappointed he did not get much playing time compared to Riordan's Jasir Rencher.
Sheldon will definitely be a top 5 team. Let’s all just settle down on Monterey Trail.
I'm telling you right now Sheldon will not be top 5. Top 5 in the league.
MT will be good, if they can get along and their coach actually coaches.
The class of 2023 is good throughout Nor Cal especially in the Sac region.
Sheldon isn't loaded with 2023 talent.
Sheldon is loaded with Talent! Can beat all of those top 5 teams on any given night. Jesuit seems to be the Top Team as of today (Summer).
Sheldon is Sheldon! Joey is going to have his team ready. They find ways to win.
Inderkum is the top team in Sac to me. I even like their roster better than MT. Jalen and Jermaine are one the best backcourts in Norcal. They basically return EVERYONE from last year except Claxton i dont see how they keep getting overlooked.

Your right Sheldon isn’t loaded in 2023 talent . They actually have one Senior in 2023 in Enoch Duplechan. However they have a ton of 2024and 2025 players so watch out next year. This year Sheldon will be young but still very talented. They have D1 prospect Ty Virgil 2024 , Jaden Woodard 2024 who’s Dad was a guard on 87-88 Sac state Scoring machine. Add Riordan famed John Tofi’s sons John who played Varsity as a freshman last year and his incoming D1 football player brother in frosh Tommie Tofi all 6-7 310 . Also last year Varsity Freshman Jaden Spears to go along with some quality players from their 23-4 JV and 26-0 frosh teams.
Sheldon did lose 2023 Josiah Johnson to Heritage Christian and 2025 Derron White to Monterey trail.
Bottom line Sheldon has been in last 10/12 SJS D1 Finals and 5/9 Open Division Finals.

I haven’t seen much on the board about the Kiku Parker situation. Joe Davidson had an article in the Bee yesterday showing there are a lot of hard feelings involved.
