I think I’ve seen the Bells in person twice, both last season. Watched ‘em online once or twice this year...

Saw SI lose in their opener vs Las Lomas... I understand they had injuries, dunno if those guys are back or not.

Being an Eastbay guy, I don’t get to see WCAL ball much at all. Even though the league race is settled, this one could mean a lot in CCS seedlings... or maybe not. I have an idea WCAL pride will be enough too get the kids playing full-on.

In their first meeting, the Bells won in OT, 72-66.

Never been here... Really nice spacious gym... Must have crazy loud before they treated the ceiling and upper walls with acoustic foam... Sounds more like a concert hall than a typical gym... gotta do something to keep 1900 crazed fans from deafening each other... :)

That should be a great game.

Mitty with a big game tonight as well. It's do or die for their playoff chances....

Had no idea Jackson lived here... I’m so bad at recognizing faces that if I’d seen him at a game, I wouldn’t have noticed...

I wiki’d him and found how that 1991 Oakland fire destroyed his home, and his 1973 MVP trophy.

Anyway... The varsities are warming up now, Bellarmine band warming up.... Almost no 6th-man presence... darned holiday weekend...

22-17 Wildcats after 1st q... Lot of offensive skill on both sides... Interior defenses haven’t been great...

Woncik steal, two tips to himself, great pass to Stubblefield for layup... amazzzzzzzing play

Bellarmine band is really solid... no need for the piped-in music here.

Otherwise, atmosphere in here is flat. Darned holiday weekend....

Woncik is a straight-up freak... Great shooter, terrific hands, court awareness... Dude is legit.

70-61 Bells with under 6 minutes to go. They are just *scorching* the nets!

2 more bombs from Wojcik, one from Milpitas and the other from Sunnyvale... 78-66

Bellarmine is my dark horse for a deep run. They are well coached and have key pieces back from last years team that lost a heartbreaker to sheldon 47-46. And if Wojcik wasn't committed to Siena I think a lot of other schools would have come into the mix.
