Reported that Palma will play Oakdale. Not sure date and whether home or away. Probably replaces Menlo Atherton first week in September which was second year of two year deal.

Word is Vacaville asked out of Liberty and Pittsburg games. Freedom will probably take a huge hit next year. A lot of talent graduating. Liberty will be Pittsburg’s new foe of the BVAL. Heard Liberty is boosting their schedule. Tough call losing their top skill players. Vaki really carried that team on his back. Pittsburg should be good but interesting to see where the Offense goes. They have to solve the quarterback dilemma and replace a senior line. Won’t be easy starting the season at St. Marys Stockton and at Serra.

I only see Liberty and Pittsburg pushing for state for the BVAL, everyone else will be really down in my opinion. But all depends on new playoff format. Heard a vote is coming at the end of January

Norcal- you must be going thru withdrawals if you are looking at 2019 matchups.... I love the spirit.
Already have analyzed the PCAL Gab as far as my 2019 early rankings and top players and looking at the WCAL. Usually have a break before work starts to get intense again at beginning of year and good time to look at things before the summer camps start. LOL

Hope St. Francis gets out of the Oak Grove agreement. I understand the history but it's a story of one program trending up and the other trending down. Would love to see St. Francis take on an SFL team, Pitt or maybe a So-Cal power as St. Francis has the money to travel. If they want to sub-out Oak Grove for MA, I'd be happy with that. Time to move on from the Oak Grove series.

Vacaville asking out of Liberty & Pitt Games...wow! I guess things are changing at Vacaville! Those are impressive teams to have on preseason games.

Paloma doesn’t know what he is talking about. Vacaville contract with Pitt is up. Liberty still has one more year on contract.

Vaca schedule looks like this:
0: Liberty
1: Oak Ridge
2: at Burbank
3: Granite Bay
4: at Tracy

Nothing easy about that non league slate

Campolindo's preseason schedule for 2019
August 23: vs. Montgomery (Santa Rosa)
August 30: vs. Deer Valley
September 7: vs. Amador Valley at Honor Bowl at James Logan HS
September 13: vs. Rancho Cotate
September 20: at Hayward

Also worth mentioning a big league game Campolindo at Las Lomas on October 25

I’m going to leave this here for now.The fella who runs PrepGridiron Logistics( Helps teams find OOS opponent) says some major news will come out of NorCal in about a week.I asked what section but haven’t received a reply as of yet.

Hahaha. Ok. I was one team off. Hahahaha

Could zprep Gridiron be saying that Folsom will travel to Texas or Florida to play a top 10 nationally ranked team? Say Allen or St. Thomas Aquinas.

Not likely.Allen had an OOS game all lined up with the GA state champ and cancelled recently. The guy at PrepGridiron Logistics said when pressed “There’s only one prominent team in NorCal “

ESPOT...Has Las Lomas moved from the valley league to the Mt. league, if so, I'm wonderig if North Gate will transfer over to the Valley league. AND if CVC will join Pittsburg, Freedom,Antioch ETC.???...Alhambra is on the verge of major improvement, but that Coach has to go to make it work..

And the 2% sticking point is hung up with the number allotment of private viewing suites available to the visiting team fans at the Spartans' O-O Field on game day??

I would hope LL moves back to the DAL Mountain. They had absolutely no competition in the other division last season.

OBSERVER22....It looks like Las Lomas was moved going on there past performance, I doubt that any body would have thought that Las Lomas would rise so quick....Their biggest threat was Benicia and the Knights took care of them. Real fast. Campolindo will be tough again and Acalanes will be dangerous, if Las Lomas move to the Mt. league and CVC by chance moves to the DVAL then we will have a three team race...Miramonte will be tough and Alhambra has to solve all its issues...

The last time they played was in Florida at Brian Piccolo stadium, so it’s only fair STA travels this time around.

Here’s what the PGL guy had to say when responding to my question:

Here's what's going on:

I originally had STA playing SJB in my "Trinity League vs The USA" tripleheader that same weekend. DLS recently offered them more money to play in Concord so they're strongly considering that offer instead. The STA AD is supposed to give me his final answer on Weds/Thurs of this week.

If STA bails on me, I already have a quality replacement from GA.

The schedule indicated that Las Lomas and Northgate have switched divisions. It is still unknown if the DAL's appeal to have CVC moved to a supplemental league was approved

ESPOT.....Thanks for the heads up, it was a good move....Las Lomas got moved too soon, but there was no telling what LL was capable of starting into the 2018 season as the Knights were taking some beatings in 2017 and the 44-13 beating to Alhambra was kind of like revenage for the past two years...

Inderkum and DO just signed a contract for week 1 8/30 at Del Oro.
DO stacking another lightweight pre-season schedule. Inderkum hasn't sniffed them in multiple playoff games. What happened to the big boy teams they used to play?
