According to that blog:

Kenny Wooten has reopened his recruitment while reclassifying to 2017 in order to play for Trinity International Prep, apparently to make sure grades/credits are as solid as possible and also to gain experience against talented prep competition.

Nikhil Peters of DLS looks to be headed to Cal Poly - Pomona. Good team that went 22-8 last season... They lose three seniors, but they're all forwards... Looks like a lot of competition for floor time.

Damari Milstead now has another offer, this one from St. Mary's.

That would put Naar, Ford and Milstead at St. Mary's in 17-18. how many pg do they need?

Peters (DLS) lands at a premier D2 Powerhouse in Cal Poly Pomona. What a great land for them. I think he will contribute from day 1. That just goes to show you how good the CCAA conference has become. Most of us including me thought he would play D1 somewhere.

Wooten.. Yikes. Don't know what else to say.

I've never been that high on Milstead. I don't see the intangibles on the court. (leadership, passion, etc). He's a better athlete than ford and more physically gifted but Ford is my guy.

Re: Wooten. I do not see the downside. He can improve his transcripts (which suggests he maybe a partial qualifier) AND find a college program with more stability.

Nick Peters great pick up. Milstead to St. Mary's very confusing as Im confused as his game just not translate at the next level.

Your SO funny my man LMAO, no one said he was going to St Mary's if you read the 1st comment it said he has ANOTHER offer from St Mary's

As for Milstead I'm not saying he can't play at the next level. I think his game translates better than frayer to be honest. I'm just saying if you sign a kid like ford I don't see Milstead as a threat. Ford is an extension of the coach. Not so much more Milstead. But he's talented no doubt.

Assist10 what do see?

LarryLegend: Thats your opinion and I respect any man's opinion. But try to use some logic> Like you said you love Ford. But this is not about love its about basketball. You rather have a 5'9ish 155lb guard in Ford over a 6'3 stud like Milstead? Let's get serious on this board.

Larry Legend: You sure have low standards.. Cal Poly is now a D2 Powerhouse?? Didn't Chico win the league??

I did not say he was going to St. Mary's, I said his game does not translate at the next level, and that's my opinion. Who knows he may become a great player at the next level!! Also I just saw the playoffs and Jordan Ford is not 5'9 and Milstead is not 6'3.

I would rather have Ford. Yes. And its not even close. He's 6"0 165. Big deal. Steph Curry was 6"2 170 at Davidson soaking wet. I've watched more basketball than most of you guys combined. I know a winner when I see one.

Chico and Cal Poly Pomona both battle for the league champ every year. Anybody who knows local hoops has that knowledge. Both programs have recent very good history at the NCAA Regional level. Chico was 22-5 this year and finished #15 in Nation and Pomona was 21-6 and #21. Chico won league but was actually 0-2 against Pomona. I give credit where its due. Pomona, Chico, UC SDG, and Humboldt are all great programs. Monterey Bay is also on way up.

Ford and Milstead are BOTH winners, they both have won and lead there high school and aau teams to numerous wins and Championships and even better they are close friends. A lot of colleges are playing 2 PG now because it's the way the college game is transitioning to. Not saying it will even happen lets remember Milstead still has 1 nore year of high school and doesn't turn 17 until mid September, but if they did end up together it would be a GREAT backcourt

I don't care what size ford is he is a player, and he has proven it. Milstead a player, more of a defensive guy in my opinion. As for Wooten, I am confused. 3 weeks left before graduation and he leaves. What can be done at Trinity in the same amount of time that couldn't be done at Manteca. I assume graduation from high school with your peers is still one of the best moments in life? Rules changed regarding core classes for 2016. If you mess up early you can be in danger of not qualifying! Don't say I'm trashing a kid it's just the truth. If the kid walks with his classmates can't he still go to Trinity????

Oh can promise there is way more to this academically. Nevada is a solid, up and coming top 25 type program next year.

Not sure if I agree with top 25 type unless Cam Oliver stays. Even with him they are not a NCAA tournament team. You have to win the MW to get a bid. Question: The way you feel about Nevada why no kids from Prolific at Nevada now? Any on the way? Im sure they would have loved to have Jackson or Johnson??

Actually that is incorrect mountain west just two years ago had 4 teams in the dance san diego st,new mexico, unlv and colorado state all made the tournament that was the year xavier thames san diego state team lost to arizona in the elite 8.

How many did they get last year????? Next thing you will be telling me is the USF is a National Title contender because the won a National Championship in the 50's

What i am saying is the mountain west is not a 1 bid league like the wcac and big sky
Conferences are .
Bones40: Just having a little fun. Right now MW still a 1 bid league. I don't foresee that changing anytime soon, Especially now with UNLV & Colorado St going through transition.

If San Diego State rebounds and becomes a top 15 team and the lose in championship game of MW tournament, maybe 2 get in.
