Janda out?

New blood, expect a 49er like turnaround after the lack of respect for the flag by players and Coach(1). Would love to see these guys return to greatness. Tthey should get some insight from Jed York and Lynch.

Seems like a good time to start fresh for Bellarmine.

The last couple years haven’t been good, but it was a great run for Janda and that staff.

WCAL loses one of their best all time coaches and one I have complimented for many years. Bellarmine ruled the roost for so many years [ie: decades] and while may of us fans reviled the dreaded Bells, I think most had the ultimate respect for them. Difficult to say what led to their recent drastic decline, but it wasn't the offense they were running nor their defensive schemes as some posts claimed the last several seasons. More so it seemed simply a lack of talent and team depth which is difficult to fathom from NorCal's largest all male private prep. Janda among the best over a very long period and wish him the best.

I forgot about Jed going to Stanford, the pro bowls, his all pro years and his ring of honor name in Denver. LOL

Lynch made his name as a player not a executive. He also made that name in Tampa not Denver. ( I guess you missed those years) If being a player was all it took to being a good executive Matt Millen would still be in Detroit. (Among others) Jed tapped the zero experienced Lynch to run his team and it has clearly worked out well. For that he deserves credit.

Jed York made his name....oh wait. Denise D and the Dr. did....Actually, it was Eddie D. I guess you missed those years.

Executive? ROTFLMAO. Silver spooned millennial...Ten years of trying with unlimited resources? Throw a dart blindfolded (Trent Baalke) and sooner or later a bullseye. There’s your “credit.” Move on.

Don’t get me wrong, though. Since greedy Mark Davis screwed Raider Nation (again) it’s still nice to have SF around. I’ll be watching.

No I haven’t forgot about the Eddy D. days. Boy he was great wasn’t he? I mean so great the league made him give up his team. I also haven’t forgot about the Harbaugh years when the team was pretty competitive and might have won another title had it stayed intact. None of that has any bearing on where it is today however and how York and company Tapped Lynch from out of the booth to run the organization getting it to where it is now. He gave Lynch the chance and for that he deserves credit, period. I’m not even a Niner fan but can recognize this. But again you thought Lynch made his name in Denver, LOL so it’s like debating with a brick here.

Janda leaves a great legacy, although they were down the last several years.

Is the Bells job a good one to take?

Who would be a great good fit for this job?

Jed gets some credit. Done.

As far as the new GM, I simply mentioned his name was on Denver’s ring of honor. Sure he played at Tampa, d’oh. But if I leave out he was the second leading scorer in first grade broom ball you’d presumably take issue with that as well. Lighten up there Biff.

p.s.- Bricks can be ouchy.

Point was if you’re going to be a smart ass at least be good at it. Lynch made his name in pro football with the Bucs. He was a SB champion with the Bucs. He is in the Bucs ring of honor. Most fans outside of Denver will remember him as a Buc and a key member of that defense. They won’t care about Stanford, Denver, or his color commentary. His playing career will be remembered as a Buc. He adds to the resume now as a fine GM/executive with the Niners. For that part of his career York gave him that chance.

Give credit to Jed for finally picking a good coach in Shanahan and having him endorse the hiring of Lynch after Lynch reached out to Shanahan shortly after he was hired. Jed has stayed out of Shanahan's and Lynch's way and just signs the checks. Lol.

Not to worry. Your beloved Colonel, a man revered for his tolerance, perspective and gentle persona, is always aware of the many nuances and needs of the NorCalPrep bloggers. Not a problem.

Lol
I wondered when his name would come up.
Coached TE at SDSU the last two seasons.

Would not be a surprised if he’s the next coach . Checks all the boxes

He was not well liked at SJSU, not a fun guy to be around. No ability to build Sparta Culture and eventual exit from program.
