Jovon and Jaden McClanahan Has Committed to D1 Schools

Their recruitment is really interesting. Productive at one of the top programs in NorCal. Played on the shoe circuits, but didn't get much run there as they got older (please correct me if that is wrong).

Now many D1 offers coming out of HS and now they are going D1 after one year. One of their bigger limitations is still there (size).

That is a long winded way of saying: What changed?

they showed their size wasnt that much of a limitation versus JC level guards and bigs.

Sometimes college coaches just flat out blow it those 2 gaurds from watching them any trained basketball eye could see those 2 competed evey second they were on the floor. They probaly only lost 6 games in there entire high school career you would have thought at the very least there winning attitude along with there talent they should have had mutiple offers while at salesian
They locked up guys (who had D1 OFFERS)
the minute they walked in the gym glad it
all worked out for both of them I really enjoyed watching them both play and compete.

I agree with you. Remember these so called expert coaches (recruiters) are often young and inexperienced and are stretched very thin. Maybe only get to a few live games depending on where located. Lots of mistakes especially when you don’t pass the “look” test initially. And kids from Salesian flat out play hard.

Remember watching them lock down Jalen Green

I was there for that... They indeed made Green look bad at times, but Green still managed to score 25, got 8 boards and 7 assists according to the box score at MaxPreps.

I never would have guessed Green got anywhere near those numbers from what the game looked like in-person. Had to have been one of the quietest near-triple doubles ever...
