Just came back from SRV knocking out PG, this was my first time seeing Marquese this year & it was disappointing to say the least. I don't know what goes on off the court but he had such a arrogant attitude... He didn't go even 70% in the first half & then started playing harder in the second half. When the game was over with 2 minutes left he then starts complaining about the refs when he was sent to the bench.... And all this is happening in front of Lorenzo Romar(Look on his face was priceless that night)

It just killed me inside witnessing what happened tonight, because the last time I saw the kid was at Pangos All American camp & he seemed to be a humble player who hustled & killed quietly. Marquese could've had 50 and the Win tonight! He has the type of talent in him, but now the season is over. Hopefully all this arrogance goes away in college and he'll pan out well at UW. We'll see what happens.

SRV took advantage and put on a show tonight, had some tip dunks & wild and 1's. The best teams keep moving on.

I wasnt at game...I agree with your assessment .Ive seen him many times. He seem to play with half a motor. Aloof would be a good word...He has NBA lottery potential. I think Coach Romar will get him on the right page or he wont play.. i do think he is a good kid tho. I dont think PG staff did a good job of developing his intestinal fortitude . He will have a rude awakening in college but i think he will get it. NBA potential depends on it...see Malik Pope is on some folks lottery projection as a bench player for San Diego St.

quese is a good dude.. he's just super competitive and he hasn't figured out how to translate that into positive actions. He pouts and takes things personal instead of taking it out on opponents within the game. He doesn't need to listen to anyone now but next year he will have to and he will shine in college, i promise you

Probably just a maturity thing. I think it was his soph year when they won the state champ game if I'm not mistaken. He was stellar on that floor and played his heart out. I've seen him go on cruise control a few times since then but the message gets delivered very quickly at the next level. You either step up or your get pushed aside because there are 2-3 kids that will take your spot. The talent is there. IF the heart follows he will be a nice Pac 12 player.
