Scapegoat. Head coach and assistants should resign or be canned. MD needs a new athletic regime and CIF should consider suspending the school in football until the program is restructured. Players will just transfer to other programs.
They need a good cleaning. Hope this is the beginning. Time to get back to values of the school.

There were no crimes charged against anyone so civil.A MD alum who is also a lawyer has been following the case and examining the briefs to give updates.According to what he has posted about the official court ruling the plaintiff may be ordered to pay the MD lawyer fees we‘ll find out soon
That's funny because the two sides are still doing depositions and nothing has been in court. The former AD is supposed to finish her deposition tomorrow May 9. Then the former president will be deposed on Tuesday. So unless something happened between Friday close of deposition and now, they are still meeting Monday morning at the law office to continue depositions. Now it is not solely about the hazing incident of last fall, there is a lot more going on. Apparently now a student from the 1980s has comr forth with more claims. While the 2021 hazing incident may be done, there is still a large case pendimg and has not even gone to court yet, it is still in the beginning phases of discovery and depositions.
What’s funnier is this topic is about the hazing falsely claimed being dismissed and you bring up a completely different subject.That is a completely different case if it’s even true
The two are related. This case is still in the deposition phase and the hazing allegations are a part of the case. Aparently, this last case from 2021 is one part. And the hazing case still has not been dismissed officially. I will not believe until an official decision by a judhe has been issued. As of May 6, nothing has been issued by a judge of amy sort. To believe this lawyer is not 100% as I have seen.in my experience cases turn on a dime. So until the court jusge publishes something in black and white, just wait.
