Just read article, Sounds like the DC did some undermining. The football gods will get him in the end. Those same Football Gods are going to strike a WCAL coach who did the same a couple years back. Loyalty and Trust seem hard to cone by these days.
I didn't know that was how that guy over at Mitty got the HC position. Wouldn't you have to put some of the blame on the old HC for bringing in a guy he couldn't trust?
The WCAL Football HC jobs must be highly coveted positions, so a coach should make sure that he isn't bringing in guys that want to undercut him. Has the new Mitty coach been as successful as the former head coach that he underminded?
I don't think that matters much at Menlo High School, the program over there doesn't seem to be as serious as Sacred Heart Prep which is in the same area.
I don't remember when undercut the HC but i think the guy had prolific college career. Next year is probably his first year of kids he brought in. Let's see how they do next year. They did have a big win over Oakland Naval Institute in the pre-season.
This is getting interesting. Not even close to the interest taken in the SLV Helmet Cam/Go Pro/Sonar conspiracy. In the section committee reports, it was noted a Chimpanzee was posted in a tree with night vision goggles taking still shots of the opposing teams huddle. These guys had Hudl Sideline before the actual thing came out.
The Butterflies have one more year with Keith Burns era kids . Burns was a head coach at University of Tulsa
D coordinator at USC and San Jose State. Also Special Teams Coach of the the Raiders . Current Butterfly coach and Burns OC is a Dilfer Elite 11 coach who is facing dwindling program numbers and talent. Talented senior class next year but small senior class and not much talent after that.

When reading the article about the MA coach getting booted, the article says the job will be posted.

That’s just the difference between private schools and public schools. They operate very different!

Didn't Newton put in years before stepping away though? From what it sounded like he was simply ready to hang em up. Can't stop a man once his heart is no longer in it.
The job was posted at Menlo the year before. There was a search committee and a process. This time it was simply handed to the DC. If that isn't undercutting I don't know what is.
You might be right, the DC may have undercut to get the job, but I think private schools have the option to post a job or not.
