The Metro League is probably the most interesting situation in the area. Grant sits comfortably at number 1 but from the 2nd to 6th spot it can go any way.
Burbank and Monterey Trail both sit at 5-4, River City is 5-5 and Laguna Creek and Mcclatchy is 4-5 in league record.
Even though Mcclatchy is currently in 6th if they win out they would be in 2nd or 3rd place.
Burbank and Trail are in the most control of their destiny but do play each other on Wednesday. So one is getting another lost guaranteed.
Laguna Creek has 3 games left 2 of teams they have beaten before and the other was a slim lost to Grant. That Grant game would be tough but I wouldn't say it's out of reach.
River City has only 2 games left which are to Mcclatchy and Trail. They lost the Mcclatchy and beat Trail in the first go around. This team is not one to sleep on and if they won out would jump Trail do to head to head win tie breaker.
Teams will be fighting it out for the playoff spots.
