Mike Johnson steps down at Franklin

Another big loss in the coaching community this year. Built a quality program at Franklin.

Coach Johnson also did a tremendous job at Lincoln-Stockton prior to building up the Franklin program from scratch. He led them to a section title in 2000. He had another good team in 2012, but, unfortunately, his Wildcats ran into a damn good Granite Bay team otherwise he might have had a 2nd title.

Any thoughts who gets the job at Franklin? The landscape of Elk Grove schools is really interesting to watch. It is such a pressure cooker environment that one down year and someone will take your place in the pecking order.
