MLK at SMS ...Two games have changed

8:30am??? Not a great time for teenagers. That means you eat breakfast at 6 if you want to have any energy for the fourth quarter ... which means you get up at 5:30 or so.
Unless those girls are asleep at 9:30 Friday night, they won't exactly be playing at 100% efficiency.

The only game that day is the 1PM. Stockton wanted to see this Lincoln game.
Should be a good one. The MD vs MM is a waste of time as is the SMS game at 2:30...
guess we will all go see the BC/Lincoln game that then all leave....
SMS should be playing MD and MM on Saturday and Monday....SMS is wasting everyone's time
nobody wants to see these games SMS is playing when MM and MD are right there...

There have been many more changes to the schedule. The Brookside/LIncoln is now at 10:00 pm. There must obviously be some scheduling that had to be worked out. It might be a good idea to check the schedules again on Friday lol.
Aquira took a hard fall in the Salesian game. She probably is just sore. Cayton was OK'ed and released by her doctor and only sat the last game as a precaution via 5 day CIF protocol. Smith hit her head and was held out of the rest of the Salesian game just to be safe. Jackson is still recovering and probably has some time to go before she is able to play. I would think that one weak would give both Smith and Aquira plenty of time to recover from any affects of their respective falls. But then that is just pure opinion and not based on any facts or inside information.
It is unfortunate that those doing the scheduling do not have the insight or their fingers on the pulse of Stockton or the Nation as well as Jazz55 does. I am sure they could have used his expert advice in that matter.

If SMS is ducking anyone it is for a good reason. If they don't have Cayton, Johnson, Smith, and Decosta. I'm sure they would love to play MM regardless of not having their starting lineup if MM will hold Sabrina, Howard, Steele, Santos, or Elle out. I'm sure no team is quite the same without several veteran starters.
The reason they are not playing MD has nothing to do with the players they are missing. The teams they were supposed to play were locked in some time ago. Palesades was also supposed to be better than they turned out. The MM - MD game is a game I would want to see. Some teams who think they might end up facing each other in the playoffs do not want to face each other. Also the idea is to try to match up teams from opposite ends of the state.
As Clay will attest scheduling is often dictated by a lot of factors unrelated to the best match-ups. Those that make comments about scheduling or match ups with out knowing those variable factors involved only show their ignorance. Of course ignorance sometimes comes in handy if one wants justification for promoting a specific agenda without worrying about ones conscience. Knowledge brings accountability.

It's a lot easier to schedule teams that don't have as much at stake ... and it's also true that successful programs wouldn't be successful without a coach who has a strong ego and a willingness to push his or her agenda. So put the risk factor (a loss can affect a lot of things, even a "good" loss) with a strong ego, and suddenly what may seem simple gets very complicated.
Brookside Vs Lincoln plays at 10 am don't why I guess no prime time for Brookside. Sorry Lincoln no prime time that comes with the Brookside territory.
Yup 2 games one game if you want call the second game a game. Brookside was like the schedule when they told first they was playing at 1pm.
Interesting about how conspiracy theories seem to die once the details become known.
