despite a very small roster (8 suited up), ESCP ran with MM for 32 minutes. closed to within 6 in 3rd, MM pulled away late. center Flucus was very impressive, picked up 3rd foul in 2nd Q, but had discipline to play entire game (she's 5'11'', next tallest teammate 5'8"). she's only a sophomore, and has all the skills.
 
ummmm i seen them play... if they are an open team then there really isnt much competition... not a knock on them but a knock on all the others in d-4 and up
its either them or the last place team in the WCAL.. neither will have an impressive resume
 
But once they get to NorCals they'll be placed closer to where they should be.

Eastside College Prep is a perfect example of why enrollment is not a good way to determine postseason divisions. And if you divide into public/non-public, you're going to have to add three more postseason brackets at least (now up to nine) and dividing those brackets will be a nightmare as well. In many cases, the top non-public bracket, after the Open is filled, would be one league -- or the bottom one too.
