Need to be stronger and stay on your feet. Must have been trained by a house trainer at In Shape in Stockton.

she's explosively quick, got a step on her defender who couldn't close soon enough (there's this thing called reaction time). remember that the foul had to be given before she starts her shooting motion, otherwise it's a shooting foul. the commentators suggested that ND would probably go inside, may have been MS thinking also. I'd say that an off-balance 3 from the coffin corner falling out of bounds was a shot MS would have been willing to live with. turns out they died with it.

yea but she catches near the 28 foot line with her back to the basket, if you are in proper denial position as their player should have been after the switch, then there is a clear opportunity to foul

There actually was only one foul to give. If she were going away from the basket, my guess the coach said to foul. With her momentum going forward it would be too easy to fire a shot up right when she was contacted(something I would guess Muffy instructed as well). She made a 28 foot fade away. Tip your cap and say f off!!!!!!
