My analysis for my top 5 picks …

If Lincoln-Stockton can rush for over 400 yards vs Antelope and beat Antelope 63-23, Tracy will beat Antelope in similar fashion. Tracy’s ground game is better than Lincoln-Stockton. Tracy is a 14 point favorite. But, I foresee a bigger victory for Tracy.

Marin Catholic ease of victory vs common league opponents Tamalpais and Redwood vs close wins vs these two team. Both Varsity and JV San Marin teams lost Marin Catholic last year. Marin Catholic is a 22 point favorite.

Liberty vs Heritage performance vs common league opponents Antioch and Pittsburg favors Liberty quite a bit.

De La Salle vs CVC I show CVC performing a bit better vs common league opponents. But, those losses to Salinas, Del Oro, and Turlock do not compare to DLS’s losses has me leaning with DLS.

Willow Glen’s lone league loss vs Hill was a forfeit, even though actual score was 64-8 in Willow Glen’s favor. The true disparity is common opponent Mt Pleasant with Willow Glen winning 30-6 vs Del Mar losing 7-21. Picking Willow Glen.

My bottom 5 picks are tossups, decided by coin tosses, accounting for 15 points total. My current margin for my lead is more than 15 points to date.

** Flipped the coins for the bottom 5 picks “again”. Kinda interesting this time the coin picked both Stockton teams, but moved Edison game to #1 because they are the underdogs. Really just counting on my picks 6-10.
