NCS D1 Final... DLS v. Granada

For all the NCS marbles... DLS tries to exact revenge on Granada, who “upset” the Spartans at home a few weeks ago in a 3-point thriller, one of the biggest wins in Granada history, certainly the biggest in the last 15 years or so...

Granada is 24-5, ranked #50 in CA.
DLS is 21-7, ranked #37 in CA.

Haven’t seen Granada since that win, but I have peeped DLS a couple times... Looks like the light has gone on, to me... Let’s see if that’s true or not.

Packed gym Granada definitely in the house! I haven't seen Granada play this year looking forward to seeing what they got. Really like DLS's team altho young.

Granada finally gets on the board, inside move... And again on a 2nd chance... 9-4.

Nice inside dish by granada... 9-6, but DLS answers... 11-6. terrific Dargan drive for 2... A swat... and Dargan scores again on a putback... 15-6... and Granada travels...

Nice inbound to Clifford for a score... 23-10... Spartan steal!! Bunch gets pass, scores! 25-10.

Spartan fouled on a wild shot a second before the buzzer! FT’s go. 27-10... Granada prayer shot, not answered... 27-10 at the half.

Will the Spartans turn Granada into granola?

Granada’s #2 nails a 3, is fouled, sinks FT. 29-17... ans a spartan turnover.. and yet another score... 29-19.

Granada nails a 3... 53-41, Clifford fouled... 49 seconds left... He sinks both. 55-41, Granada turnover.... This baby is OVAH!

Spartans win NCS, score 57-44 after late Granada 3.

Mrs peckerwood tells me to always go with the spartans when it matters the most..... pretty sure that's their 3rd NCS D1 championship in the last 4 years. Can anyone confirm that? That's three more than the gaels if my math is right!
