1. Moreau 18-4, a No brainer here

2. Miramonte 17-6, will solidify 2 with a win vs either Dougherty or Dublin

3. Albany 19-5, no competiion in the Stone for them this year

4. Drake 17-7, solid year

5. BOD 10-12, rebuilding year for the Dragons but capable of an upset or 2

6. San Marin 18-6, beating Miramonte their peak this year

7. Campo 11-12, similar to O'Dowd without the capability of 2 upsets

8. Analy 17-7

9. Encincal 13-11

10. Piner 12-9

1 or 2 may qualify thru the back door, but I am predicting only 10.

BOD is young but talented.. with Moreau going to the open after they beat BOD in the NCS finals.. dont be surprise BOD make the NORCAL FINAL THIS YR!

I think Moreau is the clear cream of the crop in D3 and will be a factor in the open the are tough, fast and athletic, I think De La Salle,Sacramento and Modesto Christian will be the only teams who can slow them this year...

Moreau for sure will be their. DLS's problem is no size. Sacramento and Modesto both got size that DLS can not contend with. Moreau will only go as far as Oscar carries them.

While their post player are not extremely tall, the DLS backcourt of Ratinho and Peters is very big, and good, size is not this team's issue, inside scoring is though

Inside scoring is non-existing for them. Their 2 losses came to teams with big centers that dominated. Bishop Gorman and Centennial both had big boys inside. Sac and Modesto both have that type of players. Coaching advantage would go to Modesto. Sac coach blew it on MLK at Cal, going away from big boy in middle that had just dominated the first half.
DLS will loose against any team with a big in middle.

Not entirely true, MV's Lashells is the best big in EBAL and they also have Fadal on the perimeter.

I'd be surprised if BOD got seeded above San Marin. Hard to imagine the room seeding a sub .500 team (and unless BOD wins out against Berkeley, at San Leandro and @ Castro Valley, they'll be under .500 overall) over a team that has a real chance of reaching 20 wins.

I don't actually think anybody else has a legitimate chance to qualify at this point.

LaShells is not at big boy level. Iam talking about guys going to UCLA, USC, Gonzaga.

And MV did take DLS to OT the first time around. I'm not sure whether that was due to LaShells or not but it does lend credence to the big theory.

What is the status of Asiasi? The regular season ends next Friday. Is he going to come in for the playoff run or just concentrate on football now?

Piedmont. Will be a top 4 seed in D4 .. and if they was in D3 they would be 2 or 3 seed..

1 - Moreau
2 - Albany
3 - Miramonte
4 - Drake
5 - BOD
6 - San Marin
7 - Campolindo
8 - Analy
9 - Encinal
10 - Piner
11 - Tamalpais
12 - Hercules
13 - San Rafael

ncshewson was almost spot on!
