D5 bracket should be more interesting. Berean (#1 seed) beat University (#2 seed) by 3 early in the season. Don't know whether Gabrielle Kelly played in that game or whether she was fully healthy. With her at full strength, it's hard to see Berean beating the Red Devils again.

Assuming the seeds play true, in the semis, University would have to face a familiar foe in San Domenico (#3 seed), last year's D5 State Champion. The two have already played three times this year, with University winning all three.

Berean would face Upper Lake (#4 seed). I confess I haven't made the 2 1/2 hour drive to watch them play. But they are 25-1 with an average margin of victory of 35+. Guessing they haven't seen anyone like Berean's 6'3 Gabrielle Abigor.

Piedmont gonna curb stomp everyone in the D4 Bracket. They may have a legitimate shot to win Norcal in the open division.
