I think Newman better focus on Justin Siena this Friday night. Also, don't be surprised if Fortuna goes down. Will be an easy win for MC this week but will have their hands full if there QB isn't back the following week

Wow!!! After seeing the way CN took apart JS last night, is their anyone that really thinks that CN IS NOT the team to beat?

Afternwatching some the CN game last night and seeing MC today its safe to say Newman is the team to beat in D4.

I'd disagree! IMO CN is more athletic and has more speed. MC is more physical and better line play (Nemans O line has improved a lot though). Both rely on great dual threat QB's.
Coaching staffs about equal! But if I were betting on it I'd put my money on MC slightly. But let's not look ahead, they aren't guaranteed anything still games to be played.

CN has been pounding teams into submission lately. Imo they match up physically, but the x-factor might just be that speed, and coaching. Both qb's are very impressive, but Newman has a few more weapons. If they meet it will be a dogfight with Newman pulling away late.

This will be Newman's year.

Still a few games to be played before we anoint a MC/CN final. The MC in final may not be Marin Catholic, did you see the 70 Moreau Catholic dropped on St Marys? MC vs MC will be hell of a game

Gotta play the games! Agreed. Might be some surprises.

I watched Moreau's game against St. Mary's. They have good speed and played well on the lines. They will play Marin Catholic tough, but I'll take Marin by 10-14 points.

Streak One, I will take other MC by same amount. I think too athletic for Marin

What day and time is the Moreau C. vs Marin C. game? Are they playing a fri/sat DAY game at MC again?

I love to be able to get to BOTH D4 games :)

Kentfield at 1 on Saturday. Wish Marin had lights, but for a venue that is day games only, it's a great spot with Mt. Tam in the backdrop.

then i must say you are a poor judge of athleticism!!!! [:)
Marin did not play well last game, but was impressed with their ability to run Moreau RB down and contain their athletic QB. Marin seemed to have more explosive plays but less sustained drives. Moreau usually breaks away from teams most every game.
