Too bad Sacramento High or McClatchy can't take one of those two games from Concord. Both Sacramento and McClatchy's next scheduled games are January 9. Both have 27 games scheduled for the season (according to MaxPreps). Folsom wouldn't play due to games on January 4 and 6 and already have a 29-game schedule.
Kelly Sopak did all the matchups -- I had nothing to do with it. (How Kelly managed to find time in between arranging officials for Brookside Christian games, overheating their locker rooms, slashing their tires and deflating their basketballs is a mystery to me.)

Best way to deal with issues like this is not respond. If people are overly and unfairly negative, let hem shout into the wind. It dies down real quickly because they lose interest and break board rules.
Concord lost a game at the WCJ when Alta Loma didn't show so had an opening -- and decided to play twice.
Encinal and Acalanes have been added for the same reason. They all wind up playing at the same gym that they would have played on but on a different day.

Head up both of Concord have to played with 7 minute quarters or its a violation by CIF. If on the same day both games.

7 minute quarters for playing two games in one day was a Central Section rule that I fought for years to get removed and finally got rectified this year. Double check, but I'm pretty sure it was only the Central Section and no longer exists.
