Maxpreps has things a little different...kids in bold are Norcal:

1st Team: Marcus Bagley, Jalen Green, Okongwu, Evan Mobley, Cassius Stanley

2nd Team: Jarod Lucas, Ethan Anderson, Jaime Jacquez Jr., Jake Kyman, Kenyon Martin Jr.

3rd Team: Brett Thompson, Sedrick Altman, Isiah Mobley, Victor Rajkovic, Josh Christopher (Should have been 2nd team, maybe 1st!)

4th Team: Devin Askew, Scotty Pippen Jr., Jordan Brinson, Bryce Pope, Ryan Langborg

5th Team (REALLY?): Julien Frank, Jaden Mclanahan, Gianni Hunt, Drake London, Jaxon Turner

6th Team (WOW!): Aaron Murphy, JT Tan, Jaylen Clark, Robby Beasley, Max Agbonkpolo

Just out of curiosity was Boogie Ellis not on the all-state team? I couldn’t imagine him not making a team, after all the kid is going to Duke.

Gotta agree 100%, should have easily been on the 1st team, if not the 2nd team. Josh Christopher not being first team is also ridiculous. Johnny Juzang should have also made the list.

Always debatable but I would argue Bagley was the 3rd or 4th best player on the on the floor in the state champ game yet makes the 1st team?

Very debatable, but Bagley more than held is own to a team with superior talent. I do believe selections of this type come from input from coaches, media, scouting agencies etc. Coaches have to be proactive in promoting their talented players so they will not be overlooked when these selections are being considered.
