NorCal brackets are up

PV boys in D3 and PV girls in D2 is an absolute joke. Someone at PV must know someone on the seeding board.

PV gets to stay home til finals. Wouldn't be mad at that at all

Looks like they only moved teams up or down by 2 divisions ie; University, St Patrick Vincent , SI,

Menlo can win that game. Larsen is a great coach and they have a D1 PG. Good game there
PV beat SPSV and are in lower division. How does that work?
Las Lomas Vs Dublin in 2nd rd should be a classic

I think that Serra gives Dublin a good game in first round -- Beasley will have to work for every point - no cheapies against a Coach Rapp team...

Serra should roll out Jack Wilson and Cade Rees (at least for warm ups!)

That d1 bracket is loaded with good teams serra just doesn't have the horses this
year to bother Dublin but that potential 2nd round game with Las Lomas
will be a absolute track meet with plenty of athletes on the floor. I don't
understand how DLS got in norcal at all over piedmont hills or amador valley

Hey wake up, don't fall asleep on this NorCal tourney. Seeds don't mean crap and home games don't mean a thang. Some or most of these teams rarely play each other. NCS D1 rarely schedules non-league games vs SJC or CCS. For example 2016 Open division #6 Sheldon went to #3 Moreau and defeated them at home in the 1st round. 2017 #9 Palo Alto went on the road three times to defeat #8 Fremont of Oakland, #1Dublin and #5 St. Mary's of Stockton to make it to the NorCal D1 finals. And 2016 #7 Berkeley ran the NorCal D1 table all the way to the State Finals D1 Championship game.

So again, division, seeding and home games are no advantage. Las Lomas and Dublin might never meet because both can go home quickly if they don't play their a$$ off in the opening round.

Alameda got hosed.. They will be turning there gear in after they lose to Oak Ridge. #1 vs #16. Bad matchup for Alameda. OR has 6"9 kid and 5-6 kids who are 6"4-6"5. Already beat Sac high and should have beat Folsom last week.

This new format is stupid... it basically is rewarding the bad teams and throwing everyone who is really good into one bracket. So dumb. If you are good enough to go open then you should be open, but if not should stay in your division and continue with the point system.

You should be happy lol. The lower the division the easier the road. That st pats team from earlier in year is no where near the team they are now too

BTW, Heritage was only defeated twice this season; once to Dublin by 3 points and to Serra High. Serra is Dublin’s opening round opponent who someone already claimed was to slow to hang with Dublin. One thing about Dublin is they are a great offensive team but they can give up as many points as they score. Dublin needs to get dirty on defense to last in this tournament. For 2 seasons running opponents like DLS, Palo Alto, Amador Valley and Heritage have gotten the best of this program at critical times.

Dublin can win; they just haven't taken a top title yet and they don't have a home Court advantage against competitive teams. If they play LL that shouldn't be a home game. Palo Alto and Mitty are usually built for this type of play but PA, DLS and Heritage are in the bracket of death. St. Francis is the 3rd team from CCS; that's a problem for NCS since CCS only has 1 team in the Open division.
