A number of the games are basically toss-ups.

One thing I noticed about Menlo-Atherton's opponent, San Diego Lincoln, is that they took last place in their league. Granted, it's only a 5-team league and it's pretty good overall, but still... last place. They're 11-4 (12-3 on the field), but went 1-3 in league, losing to the other 1-3 team, Point Loma (although they came back to beat them in the playoffs).
