Despite more than 400 passing yards from Ian Book, Oak Ridge fell to Reed-Nevada (54-42) for the second straight year.
Great breakdown Larry. This is on point with my initial thoughts on all of these teams. Should be fun!G61, Folsom is still the team to beat up here. They lose like 90% of the starters from last year yet continue to win. Great program and coaches. You have a QB who probably is good enough to play college football at the wideout spot. Remember Sperbeck from Jesuit who now starts at Boise st.. Sort of reminds me of him with his feet. Jonah Williams will be playing on Sunday. BTW, Najee Harris from Antioch will be playing on Sunday as well. BAMA is getting good ones.
I've seen OR, DO, and GB. I haven't seen Rocklin yet. OR is very good on offense but has a weak defense. They have up 55 to Whitney and 54 last night in a loss to Reed,NV. Not much speed or athleticism. Just a great QB in Book and solid coaching. Folsom vs OR will be a game who can outscore each other. DO worries me. They didn't play that well against Bellarmine in 1st half but they were sound in 2nd half. They lose to a very good team on the last play of the game. Bellarmine is the real deal. DO has a playmaker in UDOFFIA that most teams around here don't have. This will be the team that Folsom most likely could get upset by. Thunder knows more about Rocklin and they might be better than we are giving credit because they had like 8 kids suspended against whitney. Honestly they would be 3-0 if those kids played. Granite Bay is solid but has been hurt by injuries. Should be a really fun league.
