For what it's worth, what follows is a Pac-12 school-by-school tally of 2019 NFL draft picks:

Washington 8
Stanford 5
Utah 5
Oregon 4
USC 4
ASU 2
WSU 2
Arizona 1
UCLA 1
Colorado 0
OSU 0
Cal 0

Feel free to draw your own conclusions.

For years (mid 90’s through about 2015) Cal had pumped out good NFL players and shitty teams, so not sure if the there is always any correlation.
SC’s numbers however are surprising.

As conferences go these things are always cynical. Next year barring injuries the Pac12 will most likely have 3 picks in the the top 10-15.

This is obvious, but you need pro talent to win at a high level in college. Clemson, SEC, Oklahoma had a busy draft weekend.

Pretty crazy how four year starter and consensus all american LT from Clemson Mitch Hyatt went undrafted. My son thinks it's maybe because he's a bit soft and/or not yet up to the NFL standard strength wise. Plenty of talent and technique.
