After a battle with the silly Santa Rosa traffic (makes L.A. look like child’s play sometimes, especially the way the maze, er, roads are set up…. I’m in the gym, a bit late for the first game.

Took me literally half an hour to make it here from a Travelodge about 3 miles away. What sort of weed is the city “planning” staff smoking??

Anyway…

Two near-steals, but MC has it sideline…. VERY strange thing, ref blows whistle with 6.4 seconds left, says “Ball game”! There was no fighting or ref-yelling or anything. They restart…

Okay, I’m back after a very minor stumble out of the bleachers…. Anyway, Cougs lead 27-26 early in the 3rd. Foul on Ule Devines 2 FT’s both go. 29-26 Cougs.

Ule score inside, rather cheap-looking foul on Devine. FT good, tied at 29.

Gavin Rendle appears fine after the minor injury in the 2nd quarter…. He just took another charge.
