Yeah,was at this game.Pitt was in control from start to finish.They seem to do this every year,lose to an EBAL team early in the season,then beat that team if they play again in the playoffs
Definition of good coaching. Pitt's offense has been good in the first year of the new system
Galli has done a good job at Pitt. Here are NCS D1 Playoff wins going back to 2005:
Pitt- 14 (and counting). 11 of the wins have been sine 2009.

Saw the highlights. Impressed Pitt's Defense held Haener in check. I really expected over 300 yards passing again and they held him under 200 according to the CC Times. Top two teams in BVAL face the top two teams in EBAL (sort of) in semi's. I was at the Freedom game and they were just out coached by Sweeny. At least Foothill made quick work of them on a cold Pleasanton night.
Last year they did not play Foothill in the preseason, but beat them 10-7 at NCS. The year before they actually beat Cal in the preseason, only to lose to them in the rematch at NCS. If you go back to 2012, they did lose to both MV and Cal in the preseason, and then beat MV in a rematch at NCS. In 2010 and 2011 they did not play any EBAL teams in the postseason, with the exception of getting beat 48-0 by DLS in the semis in 2011. In 2009, they lost to MV in the preseason, and then beat SRV in round 1 of the playoffs, but then lost to DLS at NCS. So it has happened once before in the past 6 years, also with MV, but it was the reverse with Cal a year ago.
