Here is how I see the games going down. I will be at ODOWD Vs Folsom.

Open

ODOWD 71
Folsom 62

I don't think Folsom matches up that well which isn't a knock on them. I don't think anybody matches up well with maybe the exception of Modesto Christian. Folsom is extremely well coached and plays hard but the size and athleticism of BOD will bother them. Russell hasn't played well this year and Rabb will eat him alive. I think Ford will keep them in the game early but in the end I could see close to a 10 pt win.

Serra 65
Modesto 63

My upset sort of. I actually think MC would matchup better with ODOWD than Serra will but I'm going with Padres at home. The physical play and grueling schedule of the WCAL prevails.

D1

DLS 48
Woodcreek 45

I think this will be a really tight game. Woodcreek has a very good team with Blackwell/Brown and supporting cast. Look for this one to come down to the wire with DLS squeeking out a W.

SRV 70
Berkeley 52

Maybe its just me but I see this as one of the few lopsided games of the night. I think SRV eats Berkeley alive.

D2

IMO the weakest of all the divisions from the start.

Sac high 74
St Marys 62

Sac high just to strong for St Mary's.

Mitty 70
Consumnes Oaks 50

I don't see this as a close game either.

D3

Campo 65
Sierra 58

Campo too good for Sierra.

Drake 61
Mission 55

I think Drake gets back to Norcal finals.

D4
Some very interesting matchups.

Newman 62
St Marys 60

I think Newman boys and girls both advance to Finals. 3rd win over St Mary's this year.

Marin Catholic 73
Capital Christian 71

This should be a great game over at Marin Caholic.

Rematch with Newman and MC for Norcal.

Larry,
No love for Folsom!???

I think this will be closer than people think. Can Folsom shock the world!???? It is possible

G61- I will be pulling for them and be in the house reporting. I just don't think they have enough in the tanks. Would it be the upset of the year? No. Marin Catholic beating the #1 team in the State Bishop Montgomery is still far bigger than this would be.

Should be a great night around the state. Good luck to all that are still playing. You are in a rare category.

ODowd (Rabb) would have to have an off night and Folsom a great night for the upset. Still high school, so always a shot for upset. Could be a good game though. O'Dowds big spread over Saint Francis could be misleading though. St Francis has had some off games and combination of not a good matchup (benefited ODowd) and off game could be reason it was so big a margin. Folsom has a great game and could be relatively close although I'm included to think OD will win by 10+. OD is a tough team to contain for 4Qs and they have one of the most dominating players in the Nation in the middle.

Norcalscout- I agree with you. I woudn't be surprised if it was a very close game at halftime. Like 30-31 or something. I still think Folsom will tbe best team that ODOWD has played in Norcal this year. This will be a good game.

Rabb will be Rabb in this game, look for him to put up big numbers. Austin has been waiting for this game for a year and everyone knows why. If Folsom does play man i would expect Finch to cover Austin. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Isiah Thomas, his improvement this year has been outstanding. His tenacity on the boards and shot blocking abilities make it very difficult for teams. Folsom is good but this will be a huge, huge, win if they pull it off. Just a huge disadvantage in the paint for Folsom, but like you said, its that time of year and anything can happen. Anyone who underestimates their opponent will be going home with a fat L!!!
