Saturday, November 12th, Prolific Prep will have its 1st Annual "Meet the Team" dinner/silent auction at Frank Family Winery in Calistoga from 6:30-10pm. The event will include a dinner catered by Lombardi's, as well as upscale wine by Frank Family Winery. Featuring as the MC of the night will be celebrity Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible, Pulp Fiction, voice of Arby's). Furthermore, we are fortunate the event to be held in a historic landmark inside the cellar room at Frank Family Vineyards. Usually, this venue is only held for parties just for Oprah Winfrey and US Presidents.

For this event we will have 75 tickets available. The cost for the ticket is $75 per person. This will include dinner, drinks, music, silent auction,(will include Steph Curry, Josh Jackson, and others memorabilia), etc. Tickets can be purchased at http://prolificprep.org/Fundraising.html Please RSVP by November 5th

Prolific Prep will be having a home gave that same day at 1pm at Napa Valley College. Come join watch a top 10 high school pre-season ranked team in the country live, followed by a celebration at night.

The fundraiser is for scholarship funds for Prolific Prep Basketball players. Prolific Prep is a 501c3 non-profit organization (3 years plus). Donations to Prolific Prep will be providing tax write off paperwork per request.

Lets welcome Ving Rhames to the Napa Valley community

Price is cheap! Court side seats run $100 to see them play @ Napa Junior college for single game. It's worth it though better coaching the team gets up and down a lot faster than average high school team.

Let's clarify the truth to make sure info is correct. Courtside seats are $25-$35 and packages include food. We have other locker room packages, sitting on bench, that are more expensive.

I'd rather sit high enough, even if the prices were reversed... ZERO idea how you coaches can observe the game from down there!

The business of High School basketball. $100 for a seat, please! Non profit, if you say so,,,,. The school they attend provides the education that you are claiming. PP I'm not against what you are doing, but please don't insult us basketball fans.

Question #1- Wouldn't Josh Jackson signed memorabilia auctioned for money be an NCAA violation?

Question #2- Will he really be 20 years old during this, his freshman season at KU?

Jackson will turn 20 during this season (born February 10, 1997 according to Wikipedia and Draft Express). For comparison, Jason Kidd turned 20 in late March of his frosh year at Cal (a couple days after they beat Duke in March Madness!); just about six weeks' difference between the two.

So far as the rules regarding the NCAA, I am clueless... But I would think that neither Josh or the U of Kansas would benefit and any rule probably doesn't apply. After all, St. Joe's sold Jason Kidd posters when he was still AT St. Joe's (I have one, framed!) and as far as I know nobody got in any sort of trouble over it.

Anyway the above list is of raffle items AND auction items, and if Jackson's stuff is part of the raffle, the question is moot.

My "Meet the Team" event for Prolific Prep on November 12th, just got a whole lot better with the addition of Comedian Ralph Porter. Amazing catered dinner, Wine by the #1 rated winery in Napa Valley 6th straight years, Comedy Show, Silent Auction items that are out of this world, and MC Ving Rhames headlining the event. All of this for only $75!!! The event is at Frank Family Vineyards in Calistoga at 6:30pm

Ralph Porter, Comedian, has volunteered to donate his time to attend our fundraiser and put on a great show. Ralph is connected to one of our players' families, and he wanted to come join the Napa Valley in celebrating our team. Ralph has been opening act for Kevin Hart, DL Hughley, Tommy Davidson, etc.

Only 15 tickets left for this event out of 100. Unbelievable support from NorCal. Should be a very entertaining event.
