Is there a reason why I do not see his name in box score? is he hurt? I know Riordan stats will have the answer!

Chun sat out both the University and Lincoln games. Max Mezie also sat out those 2 games, so Ugbaja and Clark took up the guard load. Soph David Sonnier was brought back down to JVs, too. Chun originally got his knee banged up against Menlo in the Foundation game. Don't know if he sat out last night, tho. Appears so. A good comeback win last night for the young Crusaders as they were down 16 in the 3rd and came back for a road win against Castro Valley. Sean Palaad finished with 22 and the Frosh, Clark, finished with 16.

I wouldn't be surprised to see James play this Friday vs International or the Acalanes tournament next week. Riordan needs to rack up enough wins in their pre-WCAL schedule to make sure they qualify for post-season play as they won't win many WCAL games this year. He's been held out due to injury concerns though unrelated to the knee bump against Menlo. Word is he'll be 100% ready by WCAL league season if he doesn't have any setbacks that is.

The Castro Valley win was a good one as they played without James and Castro Valley was pounding them on the offensive boards early in the game. I had to leave early though and was shocked and/or pleasantly surprised when I saw the final score as the Crusaders looked out-manned early on in the game.

I believe the Riordan team is a work in progress, very young and has potential for future season's. As long as they play hard through the tough WCAL schedule they can make progress! They were once the Kingpin of the league!

Riordan's band and gym make it special in my book. That being said the hot out of the oven chocolate chip cookies and cheeseburgers ain't half bad either.....the kicker at least for me is that it's less than a five minute drive from home...
