How is Salesian rank below a team they have beaten? Rank #10 Salesian 63 vs rank#5 CN 40. Where is the logic in this one??? Norcalprep has 2 teams rank above Salesian that didn't make the final in the Platinum Division. Can some explain the logic because heah to head should mean more then wins and loses!!!!!! DOES UNCLE HAROLD HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH THAT!!!!!!

Respect - I always have had a tough time with that as well. When SMB and Salesian battled with Green, Cowling and Moore a few years ago and Salesian beat SMB multiple times without jumping them in the rankings I was also confused. In looking at the maxprep strength of schedule it appears as though Cardinal Newman has a higher rated strength of schedule than Salesian. The final score in the Salesian Cardinal Newman game was 48-40. Salesian had a bad loss to Campo who CN beat by 30. I would guess they cannot justify ranking Campo above CN therefore chalk the CN loss to Salesian as a bad loss.

That's a good explanation but I think Salesian should be rank right behind CN then not #10.

The reason why in used the Uncle saying because that how he introduced CN coach vs Salesian.

After the top four teams, it is a mess of head to head results. If you aren't careful, you get caught in a daisy chain of teams.

Cardinal Newman also beat SHC for a second team at the WCJ too.
