ABC Channel 7 I-Team Investigative Reporting is once again swarming campus.

Riordan Principal under investigation for missconduct. Teachers out on leave.

During the summer Riordan hired Rita Gleeson former nun, former Principal of Notre Dame Belmont HS to do independent finding.

Did she interview any of the parties?

Apparently not...

After reading the article I would imagine they are quietly interviewing for a new principal as we speak - ie: the current one is toast.

Agreed. At the least, the principal should be suspended immediately while an objective investigation is held. There is zero reason for a group of teachers to get together and conspire to make this up. There are potential legal ramifications for making up a story like this and the initial investigations seems botched. This doesn't reflect well on the school board and administration. As a parent, I would be floored and expect immediate action.

I wonder if the four years Elijah Davis spent wrestling for Riordan was one of Patrick Daly's recruiting highlights. Where did that fine young man live originally?

Any way you look at it, Riordan's principal should be let go...and move forward. There should be zero tolerance as this is completely unacceptable behavior/actions from a key School administrator. The school can ill afford a bad reputation in handling a scandal.

I believe Elijah Davis transferred over from Oakland Tech to wrestle at Riordan for his senior year. See link below.

Jordan24 et al. So you have tried and convicted him based on anonymous hooded blurry figures and he should be fired? I just watched it again and aside from those anonymous statements I didn't see any proof or evidence offered. Or am I missing something? Do you know facts we don't?

FUBO, I don't know the whole story, and I truly hope Principal Annastasio is innocent and cleared of any wrongdoing. But when there's smoke there's fire. The fact the Archdiocese did a shoddy job of investigating the case by not even talking to all parties involved in person has me wondering. At the end of the day it's about preserving the reputation of the School as it tries to continue attracting future students in order to sustain itself. If I'm a parent on the fence something like this (true or not) would certainly impact my decision. I hope the best that this turns out well. Perhaps Gen Lee is the hoodied person being interviewed . Lol!

The lynch mob mentality is disturbing. The smoke and fire catchphrase analogy doesn't always apply to real life events such as this. All I see are blurred or concealed images of anonymous people making accusations. Where does it say the Archdiocese didn't talk to all the parties. I think they were talking about the second outside investigator who just reviewed the initial report. I don't think Lee is the kind of man that would hide behind a hoodie or a blurred image if he felt something was inappropriate, no way. If the principal is denying the accusations and there is no evidence being presented other than anonymous statements, innocent until proven guilty.

Retired Principal of Notre Dame Belmont HS - Rita Gleason was hired by the Huntington lady as an outside independent oversee-er but when ABC Channel 7 called Rita - now living in Louisiana she admitted she never interviewed any of the teachers and she did ALL, not some, of her work via the telephone and emails.
