I was there, first game I've been to in a couple years. I was shocked on how talented Riordan was at their skill positions. Very fast and explosive. And big #42(Kefu) is a beast on both sides of the ball. 3 long deep TD passes to 3 different WR's as well. I was really impressed 👏Surprised the amount of points the Crusaders put up against the Irish defense. Any one at the game to provide details?
SH out of playoff picture and riordan in?Just want to Congratulate the Crusaders, this was a must win match.
Onto beat the Westside boys and shoot for the mythical trophy of Kings of Kezar
That’s great to hear. SHC was playing really well after wins vs SI and the Bells - and the Bells won decisively vs Riordan. I know they were banged up @ qb the past few weeks and the offense was struggling. The defense had been pretty solid but spent a lot of time on the field as a result of the offense.I was there, first game I've been to in a couple years. So what you are basically saying SHC got a pass on the Bells based on there offense situation? Confused? That’s great to hear. I still think a win over SI gets Riordan Into CCS Playoffs. But honestly, I have to refer to the PAL expert poster orARHS stats to sort out???SH out of playoff picture and riordan in?
No I did not say that. Simply put, SHC beat Bellarmine in San Jose. Riordan lost decisively with their lone score coming with the Bells 2nd string in the second half. Riordan's starting qb didn't finish the game due to an injury. The Crusaders were shut out vs. St. Francis though the D held tough, but the offense just couldn't get a score. The Serra game was the same. Both SF and Serra benefited by pick 6 tds when the game was still close. So what you are basically saying SHC got a pass on the Bells based on there offense situation? Fires lighten in butts is commonly done with a 14 point deficient, But that was too obvious to motivate, so I guess it had to be something else? It sounds like from your post, a win over SI, would place in CCS playoffs….should SI go up by 14 points too😳😊Weird game definitely. Given how each of their seasons have unfolded up to when SH went up 14-0 you figure this one was just a formality. Someone lit a fire under the Riordan players' butts and I cant really explain the outcome.
Ah, I see the explanation after those highlights. Irish big play bug returned. Riordan took advantage of single coverage on the outside because the safeties had to creep up to help with threat of the run from battering ram #42.Wow, lots of big plays for Riordan! Where was this offense the rest of the season?
Huh? Last 3 Riordan scoring plays were running plays made by a 300lb fullback looking to wind down the clock with said 2 safeties playing up in the box. One was called back.Ah, I see the explanation after those highlights. Irish big play bug returned. Also factor long historical feelings that Riordan hates losing to lowly SH more than love winning any other league game. They will not shy from running it up against the Irish.
I would classify that as punishment. Who would want to tackle that guy? Cant go high on him. Cant go low on those tree trunks.Huh? Last 3 Riordan scoring plays were running plays made by a 300lb fullback looking to wind down the clock with said 2 safeties playing up in the box. One was called back.
"Lowly"? You mean like SHC winning 38-0 in 2018, 20-0 in 2020, 33-7 in 2016 and 55-6 in 2010?Ah, I see the explanation after those highlights. Irish big play bug returned. Looks like SHC isn't shy about running up the score either..."Lowly"? You mean like SHC winning 38-0 in 2018, 20-0 in 2020, 33-7 in 2016 and 55-6 in 2010?
Check the rest of the series, dumpkoff. Irish won 12 of the last 18.Looks like SHC isn't shy about running up the score either...
You should ask Sr. Francis about the words that come out of the mouths from the Riordan coaches in the press box during SH/Riordan games. Talk about wanting to see the other team reduced to nothing. Beating your chest in front of a nun? Seriously?Looks like SHC isn't shy about running up the score either...
They're called Rivalry games for a reason...lol. At the end of the day I know my SHC/R/SI buddies all get along. You should ask Sr. Francis about the words that come out of the mouths from the Riordan coaches in the press box during SH/Riordan games.
