I am getting update 1DNA and From onsite Assist AD Bobby Green.

Please add any additional thoughts during game: We Are One....We R Riordan

Sounds good I'm getting some from the younger ShopKeeper. I'll text you what I get as well. This is ridiculous that its not being streamed.

Dial up Internet. No lights. Saturday games. WTF!????????????????????????

We are one. We are old. We are Riordan.

Bells with impressive on opening series. Kyle Macauley caps it with 8 run.
Bells lead 7-0 in 1Q.

Crusader 1st down and then what a catch for a TD. Miss the 2-pt conversation.
Bells 7 Riordan 6 with 41 secs to go in 1st

Why are they going for 2? Is the kicker hurt or just because? Like someone noted, these missed 2pt conversions will end up biting them in the a$$.

Jamarion has been limited to 1 play on D the first series. Is he hurt?

Bell's QB Ogbogu rolls right, hits Kyle Macauley in back of end zone with 48 seconds left in 2Q. Bellarmine extends lead over Riordan to 14-6

Some questionable Crusader play calling on 4th down to go for it leads to Bells 2nd score. Another botched 2pt conv and time expiring with Crusaders in striking distance to end half. Crusaders will need to execute much better in 2nd half. Caston played blocking back in 1st, and played D in the 2nd.

I think experience is playing a huge part in this game. Bells have been battle tested. Riordan and their coaching staff has not.

6 points after 3 quarters not looking good for Crusader's...

Coach Janda evidently came up with a good game plan

Think it was you Rembr26 that said they needed to keep it low scoring like the Milpitas game last year and they did.

Bellarmine is going to win. Interception ends Riordan's last threat. Bellarmine taking a knee, up 14-6

Yes OneDNA while my prediction of a Riordan win & score was way off I felt the Bell's could not win in a wide-open shoot-out and a game similar to Milpitas would give them their best shot.

Its incredible that the Bell's defense could hold this Riordan team to such a low point total, esp after the last 2 games.
This has been perhaps the hardest year in memory of trying to predict these games. I thought Mitty would edge Serra today and I was miles off on that one as well.

How does a team that scores 60 pts in one week scores only 6 the next. I don't mean to be facetious. i am a novice in watching football and i was just wondering. thank you

Also, next week's bellarmine st francis game is going to be a big one. lots of story lines. st francis undefeated in wcal. bell trying to stay up top in wcal standings, bell has a 10 game win streak (9 years, with one playoff win 2009) over sf.

I watched a second of the game last week and the commentator was talking about the ways Riordan scored. It was all over the map. That's just not going to happen every week. I think he said they scored twice on flea ficker type plays.

Bellarmine must have a good defense that matches up with them well. They watched the tape and took away their bread and butter. It happens. It's all about how Riordan bounces back. They go out next week and put allot of points on the board they'll have their mojo back.

"This has been perhaps the hardest year in memory of trying to predict these games" Head scratcher...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems as though the Bells were able to slow things down a bit. Throw off Riordan's Rhythm(?). Bells didn't let Riordan get off big plays like what they did with Serra. "Bend, don't break" defense mentality. Riordan didn't get any points during their 20 PLAY drive. Is there a kicker in their team? Who was at the game? Game summary please! :) Too bad the game wasn't streamed.

Excellent commentary 1DNA.

The worst case scenario at this time Bells & Crusaders are tired for co-Champions of the WCAL....

A lot of games to play, but it is better to be co-anything to some farm league in the Valley

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

We are in the Sierra Foothill League. THE best league in Norcal ;)

AND.....our Internet works and we can stream games...On Friday nights! LMFAO!!!!

Old man, you couldn't even point out Folsom on a map! LOL

Another great example of the Bellarmine coaching staff and players planning and executing a terrific game plan. They used five or six DB's most of the time. They relied on their three down linemen and two or three LB's to control the Riordan running game. The DB's did the rest. Fine tackling. Excellent anticipation. Very few mistakes or big penalties. They forced the Riordan QB to make decisions and he struggled at times. The Bells' offense, pretty basic much of the time (other than a number of effective plays from the spread), did just enough to keep Riordan back on its heels. And Martig didn't play. The backup did his job and did it well. Nothing really special. But enough. This one was textbook Bellarmine football. We don't appreciate the job this coaching staff does year after year.
