Riordan 71 Castlemont 25 in first round of the 57th Annual Crusader Classic. Crusaders players around 6-0 - 6-4 range, but appears they all can shoot and play Coach Buck's brand of defense as Castlemont was completely shut down. Stansberry and Galindo were nailing their 3's and 6-0 soph, James Chun, looks to be a very good pg with nice range. 6-4 Jason Smith also looks ready to have a solid senior campaign. Was lucky to catch this game online as I am away on business. Great HD quality and noticed some players not suited up including footballer, Daniel Norman. Also noticed a big kid not suited up ~6-5. Anyone know who this is? Did not recognize him.

Castlemont as an opening round opponent? 71-25? Is this indicative of the OAL or a really bad squad for Castlemont?

Yea, I remember going to the Crusader Classic as a kid in the 80s with my Dad and Castlemont was one of the top teams. Although Riordan still a a strong formidable program in their division, they both are just a shadow of what they use to be. Ahhhh the good ole days....

Yeah, still remember the Skyline teams (Gary Payton, Greg Foster) vs. Riordan (Munk, Mullins)...great games. I seem to recall one of those years they had like 24 teams in the Crusader Classic.

I remember there being 16 teams and everyone would play four games. I was on campus for some reason in the middle of the day one Saturday and seeing teams play for 15th place!
