The season is here ... shouldn't teams have rosters posted on MaxPreps and school websites by now?

I would think you should be seeing team rosters as early as tomorrow since Foundation games and scrimmages are underway throughout all NorCal. Non-league games start next Friday after Thanksgiving.

Not necessarily. Usually takes a couple of weeks for schools to post their rosters. I've seen some schools that don't even have their schedules up yet.

Didn’t mean all the teams, but should start seeing rosters appear as first games start as early as next Friday. Lots college scouts will be in attendance at both the Bishop O’Dowd Showcase and NorCal Tip-off at Dublin High next weekend. (I.e.) Modesto Christian appears to have their roster up.

non league games start today as well. antioch has a tournament already

Also, football players in playoffs, get the opportunity to tryout, once their season ends.

Looks like several teams' rosters are now up on MaxPreps including Riordan, Dublin, Weston Ranch and Inderkum ahead of the NorCal Tip-off next Friday.

Gonna miss Pat. He was the best. He's more of a free lancer as he also does stats for some of SI's sports. He still keeps an eye out for his alma mater at times. Learned his trade from SI Legend, Dr. Jeffries.

Riordan’s roster looks right as it’s the same from Riordan’s website. Noticed Isaiah Chala is not playing this year, perhaps focusing on his football recruitment.

My biggest pet peeve. How hard is it to log in and post your roster! The classic ones are the kids who are still listed who graduated years ago. Or the kid that is 5”1 instead of 6”1. Seriously. Have your student assistant take the 5 min to upload them. And go the mile by including height.

Adding a team picture is always a nice touch. Some teams do this. Most do not.

Pure laziness. Most of the top programs seem to jump on it. Modesto Christian was dialed in last week.
