Haven’t been a lot of Sac football talk lately, thought this article in the Bee was interesting. Not sure what’s going on at Capital Christian but there seems to be a lot of talented kids leaving the program. Some to CO, some to Folsom.

Seemed like Taylor was on the right track after winning the section title 2 years ago. Lack of depth really hurt them last year in the playoffs and losing even more underclassman to transfers is going to make it even more difficult.

Also good to see Coach Nixon looking to get back in the mix. Wonder if his son will go with him?

Rumor I hear is AD is a POW and meddling. Heard some other stuff too but don’t want to pile on.

Isn't Aaron Garcia the AD?

I have no idea what's going on over there and don't pretend to. I didn't even know there were issues, potentially, until reading this thread.

However, I recall some banter on this site back when CT took over the program questioning the administration, boosters, alumni, parents, etc. Basically talking about how, historically, there has been a lot of turnover there and speculating on the reasons why.

Perhaps this latest news is more evidence of the same?

If so, it's really sad. Because I have little doubt that place could become the next in a long line of dominant SAC area programs.

check their roster from last season and focus on the most crucial position. One of the many issues I hear from last season and the season before amongst others with their administration and things around the team. Too bad cause I agree with you about them being a school that could be a power but can’t seem to get out of their own way.......allegedly.
