in the end, I thought Salesian's full court pressure in the second half was the difference. with Jackson turning the paint into a no-fly zone, they could extend and trap on the perimeter. CN worked really hard to deny the entry to Jackson, but when she got the ball it was money. CN had some really nice scoring from their guards including high-skill midrange jumpers, but fell short. the final margin was close to the largest margin of the game, lots of lead changes. a two possession margin--barely.

Great game between two really good teams. Anya Choice stepped up to make some big plays late, but if Jackson gets the ball with one foot in the paint, she's going to score unless she's guarded by someone close to her size and ability. And there aren't many of those anywhere ...
