Sac high early exit from SJS as Oak Ridge downs them in a mild upset 63-55. Sac High has some impressive wins. If you haven't seen OR they have a ton of size for a high school team. (6'5-6"8 everywhere). Guard play has been a little suspect at times. Impressive win. Will be a good game against Folsom on Friday.

Saw them play against my Stuart Hall Knights. Thought we were going to get rick rolled when I saw the lay up line. But Sac High is very undisciplined and their defense had so many holes. Our PG literally drove on them almost every time, and he either got fouled or made an easy layup.
Your SH team is pretty solid. I'm sure you guys will make a nice playoff run.
But yeah teams like Sac HS if you can handle a couple of the first initial traps and pressures typically the defense totally unravels and you can get easy shots all day. Its teams that can't handle the pressure that get ran out of gym. OR big kid had like 18 and 17. Doubt he was boxed out. I think Folsom wins by 10 but it will be a good game until the end and if Folsom doesn't play well Oak Ridge is more than capable of beating them. But unlike Sac Hs, Folsom will be prepared and disciplined.

Very nice. Oak Ridge played Folsom nearly even last time they played on a couple weeks ago. (end up losing 51-44). Folsom needs to make it a faster game and speed up OR guards. They forced a lot of turnovers in that first meeting.
