Looks like Oak Ridge might be a dark horse to sneak up on a few teams in the SJS. 8-1 and just went 3-1 in LV. They play in Rancho Mirage this week. Would have liked to see them in the Nike division but they are playing a division below. They should win it. Have a lot of size 6"4-6'6 kids and a 6"9 big kid Cade Hoppe who is a legit high D2 kid. Folsom is overwhelming favorite but I would put OR as the next to beat.

I love how well coached they are. They could easily knock on the open division door. I hope they stay in division though. Like Monte Vista a few years back, get the kids a chance at state.

Well coached and seem to have all the pieces. Def could be a like a Monte Vista type which is a good comparison. I would say a notch below Jesuit right now but not far. From what I've seen around Sac area.

Folsom/Capital Christian
Sheldon
Jesuit
Oak Ridge

It will be interesting to see what Jesuit looks like when king becomes eligible. They haven’t had a player of his caliber in a long long time. Oak ridge is a very solid senior led group. I would assume mc, Folsom, Sheldon will all be open in norcals. Not sure what division capital is this year.

OR is all seniors. This is there year similar to Football. They graduate virtually everybody. Weaker classes behind so this is their time to shine.
Jesuit will be very great with King. Hell they are good without him. I think they move into a group that can beat CC, Sheldon, and Folsom w/ King. The fresh guard they have is a stud. I mean this kid really gets it. High IQ. I like the direction of Jesuit hoops.

I like what OR is bringing to the table. Should be some great league games this year in the foothills!

Folsom is the best team in the 3 leagues though. At least through the first part of the year.

If its Football, Basketball, and Baseball I will go with SFL w/ the WCAL damn close. Same thing goes with Football. If we are talking just hoops the delta is tad better. Not by much though and if Jordan Brown didn't transfer you could argue strongly that SFL is better. But since he did I will got with delta being stronger this year. Oak Ridge might surprise some folks though.

Really curious if Oak Ridge can build on the early season success. Have liked their talent the past year or two, but it just doesn't click.

I think the Delta is the best league in the section

This is Oak Ridge's 2nd year with their new head coach. This year he has them playing the way he wants them to play. Oak Ridge has always had good talent but now they have a coach that will help them play their best. My sons played club ball for him when they were young and he is the best coach they ever had.
