Sheldon wins 73-55... And Xavion and Bagley both started for the Huskies, a scary thought for anyone who gets in their way up the road...

I watched the game on NFHS, a surprisingly excellent stream... Game was fun to watch, with slams & swats galore... With the great stream, the game is worth a look even if you know the result due to the high-flying entertainment :)

That was one of the four games I tapped into on NFHS after I got home tonight :) The other streams were closer to NFHS's low quality standard, so I ended up skipping to the last part of those... Watched most of the Jesuit game, some of Liberty Ranch's game... wanted to see Sonora, but couldn't find it... So now I'm typing nonsense into the Interwebs at 1 am :)

It was an amazing game to watch...athleticism everywhere. What impressed me the most was Sheldon's defensive intensity. They are long, quick, athletic and tenacious!! They took the ball out of Rocklin's primary ball handler's hands and allowed very little penetration. Rocklin's offense is centered around back cuts, penetration and outside shooting; Sheldon forced them into a post-up offense that was effective at times, but not nearly enough to keep pace. I still anticipate Rocklin to make a deep run in D1 Nor-Cal's and predict them as a 5-6 seed going in...

I also was impressed with Rocklin. That's one heck of a team! Was especially impressed with their 6'7" big, Reinecke. No idea whether he's getting college looks or not, but he'd be a good one for somebody...

I am heading down the 680 S to Dublin tonight to catch the Campo game. I might bump into KD.

Well... I am Dublin right now, straight across from the Campo bench where they relegated the Campo nonstudent fans, aka parents...

But I bet that ain’t what ya mean...

I dunno bout this one... Dublin is flat LOADED, but never sell my Cougs short!

That’s about as deep an analysis as I can come up with... Getting ready to start one of my in-game threads... It’ll be up in a few.

From what I’ve seen of him he’s a high d2 kid. Great motor and defender. Improved leaps and bounds from last year. Not quite the face up or guard game to play d1 but he will make a program like Pomona, Chico, SF State much better.

I would agree Larry...Handre has worked his tail off to get healthy and it has paid off for him this year..missed a large portion of his high school career due to injury and has definitely taken advantage of his good health this year...with his work ethic, he will develop more of a jump shot and be a legitimate well rounded threat moving forward.
