SHP vs. McClymond - who wins?

Man, haven't seen Mac this season. What's the scouting report on them? Are they as good as last season?

SHP rolls them. Mac had a couple of close games with weak opponents. SHP will be too seasoned.

I cant see how Mack wins this. SHP is well coached and wont be faded by Mack speed and athleticism(See SHP vs El Cerritto 2013) Mack plays good non conference but OAL is so bad they haven't seen a decent team in 8 weeks. In contrast this isn't like Campo v Milpitas.. great coaching vs athleticism. Milpitas will roll Campo.

Ive seen both and will say this, if Prep doesnt bring it Mack will upset them. This isnt El Cerrito, this is McClymonds. They are much faster and much more physical than EC. And yes, i did watch EC when Pickett and Calhoun were there.

I think SHP wins easily. Mack isn't as good as last year. Can be physical on the lines and have a good back, but I think SHP can take away their primary offense and make gaining yardage difficult.

The Gators' offense has been good and multi-dimensional all year

Of the 5 regional games I reviewed in depth the SHP-Mack game was the easiest one in terms of whom would win. With no disrespect to Mack a win by Mack would be HUGE upset. Here's the problem with Makc's 12-0 record - they have not played anyone of consequence & have had numerous close games with some extremely weak teams [unless of course they were simply toying with them]. Very weak strength of schedule in which they simply did not dominate weaker opponents. SHP has beaten 4 teams ranked higher than anyone Mack has played and the lowest margin was by 7-points over a very good Riordan team. The projection is SHP +7, but I would be surprised if Mack stays within 10 in this contest.
SHP 42-27

Totally agree with you on this SPortela... I was working the chain gang for the EC/PREP game. It was more coaching then anything else from my in your face view. It was like Coach Lavorato was toying with EC in that game. I will never forget these famous words, "keep running it down their ******** throat!!!" The EC coaches didn't have a clue on how to stop the fly sweep. They had the talent to beat SHP but you have to match up coaching wise at this stage of the game. Being just physical and talking tough is Pop Warner football but it doesn't pass the smell test for high school football.

I think SHP wins .....That offense of SHP is so hard to stop teams around here dont see it much so its hard to prepare for in a week. With SHP vs Ec what was surprising wasnt that they scored but their defense was on point they knew what EC would do before Ec did it. The SHP defense is just as strong and always prepared. ....Mack plays a terrible schedule...SHP takes this one
