Cats try to earn first outright WCAL title. This class has been talked about in Sunset for four years. Close but no cigar. They will have to earn on road v. perennial power. Will Mitty allow Walters to go off like she did last game? Will Cats take advantage of post play if Mitty overplays perimeter? Far from me to tell Mitty coach what to do.

If Cats win, they will earn the title.

This SI class was pretty much recruited or hand picked, and you are right, they were the talk of the town when they were freshman. They still didn't consistently beat up SHC girls' though so I would say it would make a great argument in future years. SHC girls' was the only team ever in history that was ranked # 1 by ESPN in the city of San Francisco and won it all.

It's been a long time, at least 8 years, maybe longer. Mitty is up 29 - 26 at halftime.

I think SI gets #1 seed if they win. I think PW gets #1 seed if Mitty wins. Mitty up 43 - 37 after 3. Josie Little has 4 fouls.

Little fouled out with 2:30 left and Mitty up by 1. Mitty wins 58 - 53.

Agree100%. It takes players and coaching to rise to the very top . One without the other and you get "close but no cigar."
