They didn’t stop 49ers from traveling there. They probably don’t have the balls to try and stop a professional team.

In fairness to one and all (and that includes everyone who participates on this site), we are swimming in uncharted waters. Mistakes are being made. One can only hope they won't be made when the next pandemic strikes. So reasonable criticism is fair. After all, this is a free society. I would just yearn for more balance in the actions taken, and orders handed down, by heath authorities throughout our state. In any event, Merry Christmas. And 2021 has to be better than 2020.
The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that Santa Clara County's health poobahs can't prevent the San Jose State football team from flying to Arizona (via charter jet) for its bowl game.
She probably is in tears from going to hospitals and witnessing ICU beds overflowing and seeing corpses in bodybags. Does that move the needle for you or its not enough?
These people are many things but “intelligent“ doesn’t come to mind. As a society we confuse “educated“ with ”intelligence“ and they are not one in the same. Many of these people are very unimpressive and need to be replaced.
Unfortunately, some bureaucrats wind up being the wrong people in the wrong place at the wrong time. Of course, the reverse can be true as well. We need more of the reverse.
