Division I: Rocklin (12-0) vs. Folsom (9-3)

Rocklin and Folsom play for a second time after both notched last second wins in the semi-finals. Rocklin beat St. Mary’s-Stockton 51-48 on a last play field goal. Folsom scored and converted a two point conversion late in the fourth quarter to beat Jesuit 22-21. The Thunder won 40-7 in the regular season in the first full game without Tyler Tremain for the Bulldogs.

Division II: Central Catholic (11-1) vs. Monterey Trail (8-5)

Monterey Trail has been on a terrific run to make the section finals. Behind a good offensive line, Ali Collier has rushed for at least 100 yards in four straight games with 11 touchdowns. The Raiders have a two-headed running attack of Aiden Taylor and Julian Lopez. They have forced 24 turnovers this year.

Division III: Oakdale (9-2) vs. Manteca (9-3)

Oakdale has rolled during its five game winning streak, including a 28-0 win over Manteca. The Mustangs had four straight shutouts before a 33-7 win over Patterson. Manteca’s Blake Nichelson has had an All-NorCal type season with more than 2,000 yards of offense and seven sacks on defense. He missed the regular season meeting against Oakdale.

Division IV: Vanden (10-2) vs. Merced (9-3)

Vanden quarterback Tre Dimes has thrown for 2,498 yards and 35 touchdowns, including 12 scores to Michael Belk. The Vikings have scored at least 60 points in three of the last four games. Merced gained 572 total yards, according to the Stockton Record, in last week’s 51-50 win over Kimball. Merced’s losses this year came to Central Catholic, Downey and Patterson.

Division V: Escalon (11-1) vs. Hilmar (11-2)

Escalon has given up 12 points per game in its 11 wins, including a 34-10 semi-final win over Ripon. On October 1, Escalon beat Hilmar 24-14. Hilmar has won six in a row since back-to-back losses to Ripon and Escalon. It has held seven opponents to eight points or less.

Division VI: Argonaut (9-3) vs. Rosemont (11-2)

Mateo Flores, Colby Eckhart and Caleb McElfish all have double digit rushing touchdowns for Argonaut, which has their most wins since going 11-1 in 2012. Sophomore Michael Cherry has rushed for 1,496 yards and 17 touchdowns for the Wolverines.

Division VII: Woodland Christian (11-0) vs. Le Grand (7-5)

Woodland Christian quarterback Billy Hinkle has thrown for 1,079 yards and 15 touchdowns to go with a team leading 894 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. Le Grand’s Louie Aguallo had four rushing touchdowns last week against Mariposa County. The Bulldogs are on a season best three game winning streak.

The Thunder won 40-7 in the regular season in the first full game without starting QB Kenny Leuth for the Thunder!.
I believe it was Joey Roberts' third start. Kenny Leuth got hurt in the Del Oro game

The point is Rocklin was without their starting QB also......
I’ve never seen a team dominated like rocklin did. to Folsom that first matchup. I could have played QB for Thunder as an old man and it wouldn’t have mattered. Rocklin will need to play better then they did against st Mary’s to keep there great streak alive. Believe they have won 17 in a row….
Look for this to be a better game. I will be out there. I say rocklin 28 and Folsom 17. It’s hard to beat a good team 2x but after what I saw in the jesuit game I just wasn’t that impressed with Folsom even with tremain.

I pointed out earlier that Nicholson from Manteca was a kid to watch. I was disappointed he was out for Oakdale game. He reminds me of the Rice kid from CC a few years back. Will be at St Mary's Friday.
Everyone says it's hard to beat the same team twice? Will be first time at St Mary's in 49 years. Second worst weather at a game.

What planet are you on? And how can you be that off on a prediction?

Folsom completely DOMINATED Rocklin. Rocklin put up THREE points on Folsom.

Folsom lost to Rocklin ONCE in a decade AND without a starting QB. Huge different. Folsom defense got better and coaching matters.

Don't ever forget who runs the SJS.

Pasty: Think he was talking about the regular season matchup

Rocklin only put up 3 against Folsom and got smoked lol
Very satisfying. If you have been around the programs for the past 10 years, you will understand all of the underlying reasons why it is so satisfying to put a real stinger on Rocklin. That sucker really has to burn over there in Placer County.

I know he was.

The point is he was running his mouth about Folsom this year in many different threads and boasting about Rocklin. He even predicted a Rocklin 2 TD win tonight. Rocklin got dominated like no other team I've seen in years.

So satisfying brother.

They talked and talked and talked. You'd thought they won won super bowl by beating Folsom without a starting QB, at home, once this decade.

They got choked out tonight in a game that exemplified Folsoms area dominance over the last decade.

Highway 80- never forget who is king. Ever.

Didn't even get this right.

How you feeling after tonight's beating lol

I've NEVER seen a team absolutely BEAT DOWN a team on defense like Folsom did to Rocklin tonight. Never forget.
