Couple of notes on the Soldiers' local players:

Abu Kigab: 5 points, 5 rebounds, 35 percent shooting
Alfred Hollins: 7 points, 3 rebounds, 45 percent shooting
Amadou Sow: 2 points, 8 rebounds
Elijah Duplechan: 6 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 41 percent shooting

those are 3 game averages. Only time will tell how they perform. They are in group C and lost to 1st place 3-0 PSA by 1 point. Their other loss was against Group D 3-0 Team Final. Depends who they get matched up with week to week how they do

Soldiers schedule for this coming weekend in Indianapolis:

4/22: Soldiers vs. NY Rens (2-1) who feature national top-10 player Hamidou Diallo, all reports are he dominated 1st weekend of EYBl play.

4/23: Soldiers vs. Expression Elite (2-1)

4/23: Soldiers vs. Alabama Challenge (1-2)

4/24: Soldiers vs. Elfrid Payton Elite (1-2)

Rens have 3 major D1 players. Diablo just picked up Duke offer. The Rens lost to PSA 63-55 with PSA beating the soldiers 57-56. Soldiers had shot blocked to win . PSA also snuck by Cal Supreme 68-67. Another common opponent was Team United losing 74-62 to soldiers and 72 -54 to Rens. Doesn't look like the soldiers are all that bad off. Only time will tell

Just watched the Rens beat the Soldiers 86-85 as the Soldiers had a baseline jumper go off the side of the backboard to end the game. The numbers aren't out but the free-throw shooting was atrocious at best. On Defense Elishja Duplechan did a good job on Dialo when he was guarding him. It was J Nwora with that smooth silky stroke that time after time killed any soldier momentum. You would think after the first 30 footer that he wouldn't continue to be open.Barcelo from Corona Del Sol for the soldiers has a good stroke.

Another 1 point loss 61-60 to expressions. Soldiers had two terrible chances/shots to win and then an inbound turnover under their own basket with 3 seconds left after multiple timeouts. Game they should have won.

The Soldiers have lost to the 1st 2nd and 3rd place teams in their division by a combined total of 3 points. RUFF

When you get to this level, margin of error shrinks way down. Was it execution, poor strategy or just ball bouncing the wrong way?

Streak a little of everything. They had the ball last in all 3 games and just didn't get it done. In the expressions game in last 15 seconds they missed a shot . got offensive rebound missed again and then with 3 seconds left and a Base line of bounds they didn't run a good play and just threw it away to end the game. Overall its been very hard to watch no flow, and way to many foul calls. In the Alabama win last night there were 45 fouls and 64 free-throw attempts. IN AAU WTF. Another thing that strikes me odd is to see the amount of zone being played . i don't remember it ever being that way.

Soldiers go 2-2 on the weekend with 2 one point losses. Not Bad
