Burbank vs Oakland Tech in tomorrow nights Championship Game.

I'm not sure how Oakland Tech played early on but they looked like a top 5 team in Nor Cal the last two nights. Boum has been the best player in the entire tournament.

Burbank has been equally impressive with 2 blowout wins . Isaiah Davis has been the best player with several dunks and acrobatic finishes. Bruner has been great as well.

Should be a great game!

Very impressed with Oakland Tech as well. There big guy Camron Reece outplayed Mason Forbes in the Folsom game. He could be the most athletic player in Norcal. Boum is just a really good player. He does so many things well. If you give him space he has range out to 25 feet . Oakland Tech is legit. They beat a much bigger and talented Wash team.

Not surprised about Burbank. I thought they would blast Lathrop.

I'm going to try and make it out today.

Your right about Reese nobody has had an answer for him the last two nights.

Not sure if Reese is on anybody's list but there are few 6"6-6"7 kids as athletically gifted. He plays mainly with back to basket which is something he needs to work on. At that size you have to be able to face up. But he can play somewhere after HS for sure. He can get a double/double right now at will just on instincts.

I walked away from this tourney really impressed with Oak Tech. I don't see anybody in the OAL challenging them this year if they play like this night in and out. Boum was a great pickup by a USF team that is on the rise. Folsom looked really average to me. Not deep and no size. The gap between woodcreek and folsom is large. I thought Elias King was the best individual player in terms of talent I watched in the Platinum division.

Oakland Tech is excellent. They're deep, athletic and they execute. Souley Boum is a special player. Cameron Reese is a very good player one of the best big men in the bay. Emani Scott was the unsung hero for Tech. He hit big shots, and played very solid.

Burbank was impressive as well they are a very good team right behind Sheldon and Woodcreek imo. Keyshawn Bruner and Isaiah Davis are special players. Chris Gray and Levelle Bailey had excellent tournaments. They were missing Knox the entire tournament who is out until league with a sprained wrist.

Championship game was high level!

After watching the Chico State- San Francisco State game tonight, I will concur about Souley Boum. They could have used his quickness and penetrating. I liked what I saw of him at St. Hope, nice player.

Straight up hooper. One of those throwbacks you'd come across at portrero hill or the panhandle that stays on the court winning all day. Shooter, slasher, passer, steals when needed. Good to see him moving on.

You said stays on the court at Potrero hill!!! Love it. My dad use to take me up there as a youngsters to watch some of those games.
Marcskit- Boum is headed to USF not the Gators. But, How good is Chico State BTW? Big win which keeps them in a battle with UCSD for first. Gators came in 14th in Nation and Chico 24th. Tons of local kids but few are better than Robert Duncan. I've seen Sac State play a few times and I will take Chico beating those guys all day. Great program Clink is running.

Right - USF brain freeze. I love what Chico state and Clink is doing. The interesting thing is, all these players I got to see play in High School. Robert Duncan, Joseph Lynch, Jalen McFerren, Marvin Timothy, Nate Ambrosini,Justin Briggs, Jessie Holms, Isaiah Ellis. Cory Silverstrom Was the MVP of the Gridley Invitational from Bullard.
Red Shirts - Isiaiah Brooks, Malik Duffy, Calvin Geraci, Spencer Lashells,
It's nice to watch the progression of all these players.
As far as UCSD. Chico State passed on Chris Hansen. When they did, I told the assistant coach they would look back on that as regretfull. Hansen was also MVP of the Gridley Invitational and is a stud for UCSD. Double Doubles all night long.
Here's wishing you great hoops.

Marcskit- I watched them all as well and was the most surprised that a few D1's didn't go after Robert Duncan when he was at Granite Bay. But if you are an all american at the D2 level you can play D1 all day long. Look what he did against U of A. I really liked Hansen at Campo as well. Reminded me of an undersized KLOVE when he was at UCLA. (Not now). Not sure if it was his size but UCSD is the real deal and so is Hansen. Its a really good league and the quality of basketball is so much better than most of the people understand on this board.
