After our game today We took the team to the st Mary’s game vs Gonzaga. Great game for high school girls to see how a team works together on defense . With about 6 min left, Gonzaga may be pulling away.
More importantly , I have been coming to ST Mary’s games for years , as a coach, parent and as a player years ago, and I can’t ever recall seeing this many young women in the stands watching the big girls play. I hope this is a sign of things to come for the growth of girls basketball locally.
